The Uptown One Drawer Nightstand is constructed from hand-selected mahogany solid wood and mahogany wood veneer. Sanded and stained solid wood drawer boxes feature English dovetail joinery for maximum rigidity and lasting quality. Dust cover adds protection under the bottom drawer. Fitted with tapered 90 degree bar pulls in a subtle brass designed to complement warm hues in the wood finish. Hand finished in a multi-step process designed to showcase Mahogany's distinctive wood grain. Truffle finish is a true medium brown, as dark as ebony in growth rings and wood pores with highlights ranging to golden brown. Thick parting rails carry the slatted headboard and mirror design. Wood is kiln dried for added strength. Parting rails, crosses and posts are solid Mahogany; drawer faces, top and side panels are Mahogany veneer over low-emission engineered wood, drawer boxes are solid hardwood, drawer bottoms are hardwood veneer over low-emission engineered wood, back panel and dust covers are low-emission engineered wood.
